APDA Winter 2022Conference

This course will provide an overview of the provisions and limitations of the Smart and Safe Arizona Act.  We will also discuss why prosecuting agencies are not currently enforcing the law and how this temporary suspension of enforcement has given rise to confusion in the public and the caused a proliferation of illegal cultivation, importation, and sale of marijuana.  I will also provide a prediction of how current non-enforcement policies throughout the state are likely to change in the near future and how defense attorneys can best defend their clients when the onslaught begins.
